Polythene layflat tubing is used to create custom sized bags, for you to protect your items in, through presentation in stores, storage or through delivery.

The layflat tubing is available in different widths and thickness, depending on how much protection the item needs and how likely the bag is to come under stress. Packaging GB have a range of thicknesses from 120 gauge up to 1000 gauge, select the required thickness on each product page. The higher the gauge the stronger the bag and the increased puncture resistance offered to protect the item.

Creating your own bags has many advantages, you select the optimum sized bag and thickness for the item, resulting in reduced packaging costs and maximum efficiency, resulting in less material wastage, because you determine the length of each bag. It is also cheaper to buy layflat tubing then premade bags.

To create your own bag, you will need a heat sealer with a cutter, to seal and cut the layflat tubing at the required length. This will provide the sealed item protection from dust and dirt, while keeping the item in a pristine condition for the recipient.
